An Evening With Amir Khan – Back To Business

An Evening With Amir Khan is a very special three-course dinner with former world light-welterweight boxing champion Amir “King” Khan after his big comeback fight.

On April 21 Khan will face Phil Lo Greco on his return to the ring at the Echo Arena in Liverpool and this will be his first public engagement after the fight.

The event is being organised in partnership with Penny Appeal and will be hosted by actor and comedian Abdullah Afzal, best known for his role as the bumbling Police Community Officer in BBC One’s multi award-winning hit comedy show ‘Citizen Khan’.

The boxer, who was a contestant on last years ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’ will be the star of the show alongside a sumptuous three-course banquet and a night of live music and comedy.

An Evening With Amir Khan will visit three cities: London on 11 May, Birmingham on 12 May and Bradford on 13 May.

This event will feature traditional Nasheed music from Abdullah Haqani, the aforementioned comedy from Abdullah Afzal and an intimate Q&A session with Olympic silver medallist Amir Khan.

Amir Khan’s big comeback fight, ‘Back to Business’, marks his first major fight since May 2016 when he stepped up to middleweight to face Mexican star Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.

The 31-year-old is determined to get back to his world title glory days when he unified all title belts and this special evening dinner will celebrate his spectacular return to the ring.

This is your chance to share a three-course meal and spend some time with a boxing legend. All profits will go directly to orphaned children living in the Amir Khan Foundation’s orphan complex in Pakistan.
