BABBU MANN’S SOLD OUT SHOWS HAVE LEFT A WANT FOR MORE IN THE MINDS OF PUNJABI MUSIC LOVERS

All roads led to the Morningside Arena in Leicester this past Sunday, which hosted the finale concert of the 2018 Babbu Mann UK Tour

After the hugely successful shows in Birmingham, London and Gravesend, the legendary singing sensation was joined by  fans of all ages, many of whom had thronged from around the country towards the East Midlands venue.

With excitement in the air, the crowd seemed to be buzzing, eagerly awaiting the arrival of their favourite icon. And then there he was. With every step Babbu Mann took on to the arena stage, the audience were electrified. The show was just getting underway as fans were on to their feet, creating a dancefloor at the very spot they stood.

Babbu Mann’s trip to Britain comes on the back of the release of his successful album earlier in the year named “IK C PAGAL.” With hits such as ‘Mehndi’ and ‘Zumba’ proving to be vital for any DJ’s playlist, Babbu Mann has shown that even after two decades, he remains on the top of his game and in the hearts of millions of his followers.

And it was this love amongst his fans that was most evident during the three hours show in Leicester. Whether it was his rendition of “Pind Pehra Lagda”, or his engaging performance of “Pehla Sardar Han”, the audience cried out for more. In some cases, spectators were seen literally crying with happiness. Screams of “Love You Maan Saab” were heard from across the auditorium to which seemed to energise the multi-talented singer, composer and lyricist even more.

Widely regarded as the most successful tour of any Punjabi artist in the UK in 2018, Babbu Mann’s sold out shows have left a want for more in the minds of Punjabi music lovers. We like you all, eagerly await what else the bhangra icon has in store for us in the coming months and years.
