Himesh Reshammiya secretly marry to long-time girlfriend Sonia Kapoor today
Music composer – singer – actor Himesh Reshammiya to wed Sonia Kapoor in a simple ceremony at his residence today [11 May 2018]. The ceremony will be a close-knit family affair with just close family and friends.His parents and son Swayam will also be present.
Reshammiya was previously married to Komal, with whom he has a son named Swayam. However, they got divorced on 12 September, 2016.It is said to be a traditional Gujarati wedding at Himesh’s residence in Lokhandvala.
“Singer and actor Himesh Reshammiya will soon tie the knot with long time girlfriend Sonia Kapoor. A simple ceremony will be held on the night of May 11, i.e today at his residence. The ceremony will be a close knit affair with just close family and friends. Himesh’s parents and son Swaym will also be also be present for the occasion,” read an official statement.
It was in November 2017 that the reports of them tying the knot soon had started surfacing.
Himesh and Sonia have been living together since before reshammiya`s divorce with komal came through in June 2017. Sonia was accused of playing the ‘home-breaker’ in Himesh and Sonia’s life. But Himesh’s ex-wife Komal laid all accusations to rest by saying that her problems with Himesh were not regarding Sonia.
“Nobody else should be dragged into this matter and nobody else is responsible for this. The reason for our marriage not working is only and only compatibility. Sonia is not responsible for this at all and our son Swayam and our family loves Sonia just like a family member,” Komal had said.
