A veteran of over a hundred concerts, the official photographer of the Neha Kakkar 2019 UK Tour clearly had his work cut out for him. “It’s definitely a challenge tonight! She’s not standing still for even a second,” he joked.
But the photographer seemed to be the only one complaining. #Bollywood singing sensation #NehaKakkar was in town, embarking on her 3 day UK Tour, and within minutes of her taking on to the stage, she had the crowds up on their feet sending them all into a frenzy.
With any concert organised by Rock On Music, venues in #Manchester(hosted in conjunction with Explosive Group Live Events & Corporate) and in #Leicester (hosted in conjunction with Angel Events Ltd) saw thousands of fans fill them up. The London show held at the Eventim Apollo sold out 4 days before the event, forcing the Vj Bhola led team at #RockOnMusic to release limited standing tickets to fulfil the high demand.
Indian Idol season 10 finalists Kunal Pandit, Nitin kumar and Vibhor Parashar accompanied Kakkar, who made a name for herself as a contestant on #IndianIdol itself before rising through the charts as a successful playback singer. Fans at the London show were treated even further with a special performance from the popular chartbusting music director Vishal Dadlani, giving a sneak peak into his own UK Tour scheduled for 2020.
With superhit songs such as ‘Aankh Maarey’, ‘Mile Ho Tum’, ‘Dilbar’ and ‘Kala Chashma’ under her belt, Neha Kakkar gave an exhilarating performance at each of her shows. Her trademark megawatt smile and dynamic dance moves showed why she is highly regarded as a ‘complete performer’ by her contemporaries. The incredible band transcended seamlessly from Bollywood to #Punjabi to Pop and vice versa, meaning there did not seem to be a single person inside the venue who couldn’t help but shake a leg to the beat.
The conclusion of this spectacular tour has proven to be another jewel in the crown of Rock On Music. And a worthwhile challenge for even the best of photographers…
