Shah Rukh Khan gets emotional on completing 26 years in Bollywood, says, “Hope I have touched small bits of your hearts”
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has completed 26 years in Bollywood, and the superstar hopes he has touched the hearts and lives of people during his journey in showbiz.
After working on the small screen for a few years, Shah Rukh entered Bollywood with Deewana, which released on June 25 in 1992.
On “exactly half a lifetime of being ‘others’“, Shah Rukh tweeted on Monday: “Expressing love, happiness, sadness, dancing, falling and flying. Hope I have touched small bits of your hearts and hope I can do so for the whole lifetime.”
Shah Rukh had made his Bollywood debut with Deewana in 1992. The movie also starred Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti. It still remains a romantic classic. Over the years, with his sheer hard work and talent, SRK became a superstar. He has acted in dozens of blockbuster movies like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Don which strengthened his position as the Badshah of Bollywood!
Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero. The actor will be essaying the role of a dwarf. The crew recently shot for the climax of the movie at Universal Studios, Orlando. The movie also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, making this the trio’s reunion after Yash Chopra’s swansong, Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Salman Khan will also appear in a cameo in the movie. Recently, on the occasion of Eid, a special teaser of Zero was released which unveiled his cameo. Fans were bowled over by what they saw on screen. The idea is clear that if all goes right, Zero will turn out to be a revolutionary movie for Indian cinema.
