If there’s one thing you should know about Dhol Blasters, it’s that they define themselves through their love of Bhangra music in a big way.
Thursday 16th August 2018 Will see Dhol Blasters released their debut track titled ‘’ YAAR DA VIAH’’ creating a style that mixes Bhangra music to a totally different level.
The band 1st started their journey in 1985 consisting of King G Mall, Dhol/Dholki, Parshotam Ral, Trumpet/Key Board/Harmonium, Jeeta Singh, Singer and lead vocals, Harvey Bahra, Dhol, Upkar Chaggar, Dhol, Aaron Chander,Dhol/Tabla, Runveer Singh, Algozey/Tumbi/Dhol/Banjo, and went onto created a genre. Since then, it’s been a whirlwind ride for the group; with major performances with ‘’A’’ list artists, high profiled events worldwide.
Indeed, the release see’s the band maintaining their true Punjabi roots and spirit while exploring a new expansive, emotive territory.
“This is one of the first songs we finished for Dhol Blasters, which is kind of ironic because it was one of the most challenging to make as a band. We put a lot of creative work into this one – we produced it ourselves – and it really helped set the tone for where we wanted to go with the release’’ commented’’ King G mall.
The single is releasing through Kiss Records, Lyrics by Amarjit Jeeta and the video directed by King G mall.
